Honestly, I used to hate candles. I hated them because I never had a good experience with them. I would buy a candle. When I got home to light it up, I couldn’t smell anything. So, I always thought candles were a waste if you were seeking aromatic pleasure.
One day, about 20 years later, I decided to give candles another try. I purchased a candle from a well-known candle company. To my surprise, I could smell the fragrance. From then on, my perception of candles changed.
While this candle produced a wonderful smell for the first three or four burns, I smelled more burning wax than fragrance about the fifth time of lighting it; yuck! I said to myself, “If I were to create a candle, I would want the fragrance to last from beginning to end, every time.” And to my surprise, this little thought sent me on a mission to become one of the best specialty candle manufacturing companies in the United States.
